Position Purpose:
The Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Management is responsible for strategically directing the Procurement division, which serves as the backbone of our sales operations.

This role focuses on driving revenue growth through strategic product sourcing, vendor management, collaboration with sales teams, product innovation, and effective inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee a diverse team, ensuring effective staffing, training, coaching, performance evaluation, and resolution of challenges.
  • Manage inventory levels, including optimizing days of stock on hand, minimizing obsolete inventory, and rationalizing product offerings.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies, including future cost planning and market forecasting.
  • Collaborate with Sales to identify optimal solutions for customers and the business, leveraging feedback on market trends to meet current and future customer demands.
  • Drive innovation and product offerings with a focus on developing and promoting PFG branded items.
  • Maximize vendor engagement and financial contributions.
  • Oversee in-house logistics to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years of experience in foodservice distribution within Sales, Operations, or Procurement
  • 2+ years of leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional 2+ years of experience leading a purchasing team
