Overview: The Application Support Specialist is responsible for managing the resolution of application and system issues that arise across the business, and demands an ability to manage multiple high-level tasks under pressure.

Responsibilities:

Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Proficient knowledge of operating systems, devices, applications and software: Symitar Episys Quest, Meridian Link LPQ, Meridan Link Xpress Accounts, Mortgagebot LOS & POS, Finastra Servicing Director, Prologue, Synergy, Alkami, Image Center
  • Function as the system administrator for managed applications
  • Prepare maintenance plans and upgrade schedules for the application and systems, and coordinate testing of new releases
  • Manage alert monitoring for all ancillary applications and prepare communications to affected business units
  • Consult with leaders and other professionals on workflow operations and how to optimize them
  • Act as the technical liaison between the vendor/service provider and the internal business unit
  • Provide technical support to teams within the organization, and to external clients when required
  • Assist with systems integrations
  • Manage the ticketed query system and ensure database of queries and resolutions is kept up to date
  • Maintain and update technical documents and procedures
  • Identify and resolve technical issues
  • Deliver regular and customized training to teams within the business

Requirements:

  • College degree in one of the following disciplines: IT, Computing Studies, Information Systems, Business Administration OR equivalent work experience
  • Intimate knowledge of the organization’s systems: Symitar Episys Quest, Meridian Link LPQ, Meridan Link Xpress Accounts, Mortgagebot LOS & POS, Finastra Servicing Director, Prologue, Synergy, Alkami, Image Center
  • Ability to explain complex ideas to those with limited IT and systems knowledge
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Extraordinary customer service and relationship management experience
  • Critical thinking skills
