Job Summary

The Application Support Specialist is a critical role that requires a high level of technical expertise and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the resolution of application and system issues, providing technical support to teams within the organization, and acting as a liaison between the vendor/service provider and the internal business unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the resolution of application and system issues
  • Provide technical support to teams within the organization
  • Act as a liaison between the vendor/service provider and the internal business unit
  • Prepare maintenance plans and upgrade schedules for the application and systems
  • Manage alert monitoring for all ancillary applications
  • Consult with leaders and other professionals on workflow operations and how to optimize them
  • Deliver regular and customized training to teams within the business
Requirements
  • College degree in IT, Computing Studies, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience
  • Intimate knowledge of the organization's systems
  • Ability to explain complex ideas to those with limited IT and systems knowledge
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Extraordinary customer service and relationship management experience
