Job Summary: The Accounting Associate will work as a team to process and record daily accounting functions, such as domestic and international incoming and outgoing wires, daily accounting imports and other accounting related items.

Essential Functions:

· Initiate and receive domestic and international wires, process vouchers, apply wires in SAGE/SAP as needed, communicate with other employees and communicate totals at noted times throughout the day

· Process ACH file to the financial institution

· Identify and support resolution of issues that may arise in the daily reconciliations

· Prepare support for daily cash report

· Receive and update SAGE/SAP checks and deposits

Other functions:

· Process journal entries as needed

· Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

· Provide back up for other accounting functions.

· Maintain current procedures manual documenting position responsibilities.

Education/Experience/Qualifications:

· BS Business Administration, Accounting or other related degree, or proven experience in similar role

Open to individual with Accounting passion that may be in process of a degree or past accounting experiences

Required Skills / Abilities:

·

· Experience and understanding of wire and ACH requirements

· Reconcile high volume accounts

· Ability to move in fast paced environment and prioritize to meet daily deadlines.

· Motivated and detail oriented.

· Ability to learn quickly and a strong aptitude with numbers.

· Must possess a willingness to learn.

· Ability to pay close attention to detail and coordinate various activities simultaneously.

· Team player.

· Excellent organizational skills.

· Excellent written and oral communication skills.

· Fluency in Microsoft Excel.

· Regular, predictable attendance.
