The Payroll and Benefits Team of Choice Schools is searching for a Payroll and Benefits Coordinator to effectively administer the company's payroll and benefits programs.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with the Director of Payroll & Benefits to effectively administer the company's leased employee payroll and benefits programs within the parameters of the organization & Academy Board policies while ensuring all local, State & Federal legal requirements are met.
  • Review and audit payrolls for compliance with personnel policies.
  • Respond to employee's questions related to payroll and benefits and other basic questions.
  • Manage the electronic tracking of hourly employee timesheets and vacation/PTO and send appropriate correspondence reminding them of company policy, remaining time off, etc.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all company employee personnel information and other confidential information.
  • Consistently uphold and promote the organization's core values, serving as role models for ethical behavior and cultural alignment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associates degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in payroll administration.

Desired Requirements:

  • Ability to learn and utilize payroll and benefits software.
  • Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to effectively resolve complicated complaints, inquiries, and issues involving pay and benefits.
  • Effective communicator in both oral and written form.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and adept at establishing and maintaining good rapport and working relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated appropriate customer service attitudes in a variety of work settings.
  • Ability to meet stringent deadlines, prioritize work, operate in a fast-paced work environment, and coordinate projects.
  • Ability to work well with individuals and groups and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ability to use various forms of electronic communications (email, web, text, etc).
