Job Summary:
The Controller Business Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the company's financial health by collaborating closely with the CFO to deliver accurate and timely financial information. This position is crucial in maintaining compliance with industry best practices and company standards.

What You’ll Do:

  • Coordinate the review of financial reports effectively.
  • Design comprehensive reports aligned with directives from the CEO and corporate requirements.
  • Perform franchise reconciliations and lead monthly closings.
  • Identify and propose solutions for issues identified in audit findings.
  • Monitor departmental compliance across the company.
  • Oversee and ensure compliance across all franchises.
  • Manage and provide leadership to the business office personnel.
  • Supervise daily operations and make informed decisions for the business office team.
  • Foster client relationships and enhance client retention.
  • Exemplify a client-centric vision and uphold corporate culture standards.
  • Initiate personal and professional development initiatives.
  • Stay updated with current industry trends and product knowledge to enhance client interactions and job performance.
  • Ensure a safe work environment for all team members.
  • Act as an effective and proactive team member within the organization.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA preferred).
  • 5-10 years of experience in a Controller or related business role with a focus on financial reporting.
  • Excellent understanding of Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and ability to interpret DMS accounting reports.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced workbook management and formula application.
  • Technical aptitude to effectively utilize MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
