Job Title: People Partner
Job Summary:The People Partner is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. They serve as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues, acting as a change agent and employee champion. The role focuses on enhancing workforce capability, improving organizational performance, and ensuring the company's culture and values are upheld.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders to understand their goals and challenges, providing strategic HR support and guidance.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the business objectives of the designated departments.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers on all human resources matters, including workforce planning, organizational development, and employee relations.
- Drive the implementation of HR programs, such as performance management, talent development, and succession planning, within the business units.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and employee relations issues.
- Mediate and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting thorough and objective investigations when necessary.
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture by addressing employee concerns and fostering open communication.
- Support the talent acquisition process by working closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and ensure a smooth recruitment process.
- Collaborate with the Learning & Development team to identify training needs and coordinate the delivery of development programs.
- Support career development initiatives, helping employees map out career paths and providing coaching and mentoring.
- Partner with business leaders to manage organizational changes, including restructuring, mergers, acquisitions, and other transformations.
- Develop and implement change management plans that minimize resistance and maximize employee engagement and adoption.
- Guide managers through the performance management process, ensuring fair and consistent evaluations.
- Provide coaching to managers on giving feedback, setting performance goals, and managing underperformance.
- Analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement, making recommendations to enhance employee performance.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies in all HR practices and procedures.
- Monitor HR metrics and use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and mitigate risks.
- Manage employee grievances and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
- Drive initiatives to promote employee engagement and ensure alignment with the company's values and culture.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams to strengthen a sense of community and shared purpose.
- Lead or participate in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to create a more inclusive workplace. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in an HR generalist or business partner role.
- Strong understanding of HR practices, including employee relations, talent management, and performance management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
