Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and visionary Executive Director/Administrator to lead and manage our hospice services. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations, ensuring compliance with Medicare, state regulations, and CHAP standards. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of hospice care and a strong track record in hospice management. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead operational planning, budgeting, and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
  • Maintain the highest standards of ethical business and patient care practices.
  • Oversee financial stability and monitor business operations.
  • Evaluate hospice services and staff performance using measurable outcomes.
  • Manage conflicts and resolve complaints effectively.
  • Foster effective communication across all channels and integrate technology as needed.
  • Ensure ongoing staff education and professional development.
  • Guarantee interdisciplinary care and support services are provided.
  • Coordinate with other departments and senior management for seamless operations.
  • Stay informed on local and national hospice trends and issues.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to achieve organizational goals.
  • Supervise staff performance, including admissions, discharges, and patient care services.
  • Monitor service utilization and ensure comprehensive care delivery.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and vendors to manage services effectively.
  • Ensure adequate resources, including space, equipment, and supplies.
  • Provide regular reports to the Governing Body and monitor operational progress.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Hospice Administrator.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Proven management and supervisory experience.
  • Strong understanding of corporate business management and operational skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of hospice care and services provided through an interdisciplinary team.
  • Experience with EMR systems, preferably MatrixCare.
