Houston, United States Giga Energy Full time
Job DescriptionJob Description

About Giga Energy

We build and operate energy infrastructure for data centers, renewables, and other commercial & industrial markets. Our product lines include modular data centers, transformers, switchgear, and power generation assets. Giga is growing quickly. Our headquarters is located in Houston, Texas, with satellite offices in Shanghai & Abu Dhabi, and data centers across North & South America. We have a fast paced, informal, and results-oriented culture. Our core values are speed, trust, and extreme ownership.

About the Role

You will join our small but rapidly growing Marketing team to be the sole Social Media Manager at Giga Energy. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that Giga Energy’s social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, and Telegram) always have consistent, on-brand, and high-quality content. You will collaborate with other members of the Marketing team to write content and design graphics, with the Product team to gather product specifications and photos, and the Sales team to understand customer pain points and our key value propositions. You will be responsible for tracking social media metrics such as impressions, followers, and post counts, and ensuring they are trending upwards at all times.

This is an ideal role for someone looking to work at a fast-paced company with significant potential for increased responsibility at an employer who values your strong character, dedicated work ethic, and cheerful disposition.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across LinkedIn, Twitter, and Telegram to increase brand awareness, engage audiences, and drive business growth.
  • Create and curate compelling, on-brand content including written posts, graphics, videos, and interactive elements to consistently populate Giga Energy's social channels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Sales) to gather insights, product information, customer pain points, and key messaging to inform content development.
  • Ensure a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all social media platforms.
  • Plan and manage an editorial calendar, scheduling social media posts for optimal timing and reach.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and foster active online communities around Giga Energy's products and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, best practices, and platform algorithm changes to optimize content performance.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on social media metrics such as impressions, engagement, follower growth, and conversion rates, making data-driven decisions to improve results.
  • Identify opportunities for paid social media advertising campaigns and collaborate with the marketing team on execution.
  • Continuously explore new and innovative ways to leverage social media for marketing, customer acquisition, and brand building.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; or equivalent experience in social media management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing social media campaigns and growing online communities.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and messaging for different platforms and audiences.
  • Strong visual and creative skills with experience in design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) for creating engaging graphics and multimedia content.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret social media metrics and make data-driven decisions.
  • Knowledge of social media advertising platforms and best practices for paid campaigns.
  • Familiarity with the energy industry, bitcoin mining, and/or blockchain technology is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Adaptability and eagerness to learn new skills and stay current with emerging social media trends and tools.
