What You’ll Do

We are seeking a dynamic Director of Marketing to develop and drive a comprehensive strategy that generates inbound leads and establishes CloseSimple as a thought leader in the Title & Escrow industry. The ideal candidate is highly analytical and has experience in data-driven decision-making that has resulted in business growth.

This is a hybrid position requiring on-site work in our Minneapolis, MN office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Strategy Development and Execution:
    • Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan that aligns with business goals and directly generates inbound leads.
    • Identify target markets and craft messaging to attract and engage key customer segments in the Title & Escrow industry.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with sales objectives.
  • Email Marketing Management:
    • Design, execute, and optimize email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and drive conversions.
    • Maintain a clean, segmented marketing list of prospects, implementing best practices for list management and growth.
  • Social Media and Digital Advertising:
    • Create a comprehensive social media strategy, including content planning, digital ad campaigns, and performance monitoring.
    • Utilize analytics to refine strategies and improve campaign effectiveness across platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Google Ads.
  • Content Creation and Management:
    • Direct the creation of high-quality blogs, whitepapers, case studies, and other content to establish thought leadership and support sales and implementation processes.
    • Build and maintain a vault of digital resources that highlight industry insights and CloseSimple's value proposition.
  • Website Optimization:
    • Critically analyze the company website for opportunities to enhance user experience, SEO performance, and lead conversion rates.
    • Implement A/B testing and other optimization techniques to continuously improve website effectiveness.
  • Performance Reporting and Analysis:
    • Monitor, measure, and report on the performance of all marketing activities, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
    • Identify the most effective marketing strategies and tactics, making data-driven decisions to optimize future efforts.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration:
    • Lead the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer success, to ensure cohesive and effective marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on digital marketing, lead generation, and content creation.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive inbound leads and revenue growth.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed marketing decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and messaging.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and digital analytics platforms.
  • Experience in the real estate or Title & Escrow industry is a plus.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
