Overview of the Position:

The Desktop Support Analyst is responsible for maintaining the computer hardware and software systems by assisting with resolving technical issues concerning the infrastructure. Additionally, will also support computer software integration by diagnosing and trouble - shooting common problems.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent required / Associates Degree in relate field with two to three years of experience in small to mid-size environment; Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information System /Computer Science preferred

• Two to Three years of experience troubleshooting Windows 7/10, server experience a plus

• Strong people skills, team player, strong written and verbal communications skills

• Experience in a small to mid-size corporate, healthcare, municipality, or educational institution

• Ability to self-motivate and plan in advance for upgrades, etc.

• Ability to work in fast paced environment

• Must be comfortable taking direction from Leadership

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• No supervisory responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide day-to-day desktop support for all staff, serve as first line of communication to end user

• Strong PC hardware, operating system, application integration & troubleshooting skills, experience with Windows XP-10 (32-64 bit OS)

• Knowledge of Microsoft tools and technologies such as BitLocker, Sys Internals, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit and Application Compatibility Toolkit

• Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Anti-Virus software, O365 a plus

• Experience with application deployment / pc imaging, etc.

• Some experience with active directory, DHCP, TCP/IP

• Accurately record, update and document requests using the IT service desk system.

• Install and configure new IT equipment (pc / printers / faxes / scanners / etc.)

• Resolve incidents and upgrade different types of software and hardware.

• Interface with tier 2/3 support teams, management and work on project related deliverables.

• Provide over the top customer service, have a “ALL HANDS ON DECK” approach to resolving issues

• Participate in on-call rotation, some travel required within the Pee Dee Region

Physical Requirements:

Hearing: Adequate to perform job duties in person and over the telephone. Speaking: Must be

able to communicate clearly to patients in person and over the telephone. Vision: Visual acuity

adequately to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and

computer screens. Other: Requires occasional lifting and carrying items weighing up to 10

pounds unassisted in normal daily activities and up to 30 lbs. for other required work activities.

Additionally, requires frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements

(especially if keyboarding and writing), standing, walking, squatting, and sitting, with some

lifting, pushing and pulling exerted regularly throughout a regular work shift.
