Job DescriptionJob DescriptionBlack Diamond Paving is hiring for a Paving Crew - Operator for their office in Escondido, CA

This individual will join our operations team and support our paving, sealcoating, striping and concrete teams.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Experience with Paving and/or Sealcoating processes & equipment (a paver, roller, bobcat, asphalt raking, sealcoat machine etc.)
  • Maintain acceptable, clean California Class C and/or Class A driver’s license (Class A license is a plus, but not required)
  • Display safety consciousness, a strong work ethic, exceptional attitude & attendance traits.
  • Demonstrate team skills on an ongoing basis.
  • Be available to work weekends and out of town when necessary.
  • Able to lift 40 lbs.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (or experience working in a bilingual environment)
  • Must be able to pass post offer drug test and MVR check.

Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalency required, and 1-2 years of related; or equivalent combination of education and experience. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​
  • Must have a valid driver’s license (Class A CDL is a plus)
