Position Overview

As a member of the Asphalt Paving Crew at Romero, you will be integral to our operational workflow. Your responsibilities will include contributing to the production of high-quality asphalt paving for highway projects, ensuring efficient processes while adhering to our rigorous quality standards. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of accountability, and the ability to meet production timelines while delivering exceptional results.

Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience in concrete and/or asphalt work or a related field
  • Familiarity with asphalt paving methods, machinery, and materials
  • Capability to operate and maintain paving machinery, including pavers, rollers, and skid steers
  • Awareness of safety protocols and the ability to comply with them
  • Physical endurance and strength to perform manual tasks in outdoor settings
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving history
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational background
  • Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., CDL) are advantageous
