As an Administrative/Accounting Assistant, your main duties will be assisting our dealership's Accounting Department with various tasks, answering phones and directing calls, and serving as the main backup for the dealership receptionist as needed. In this position, you will be cross-trained to assist the various positions in our office with light clerical work.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct calls appropriately using a multi-line phone system
- Serve as the main backup for the dealership receptionist as needed
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
- Data entry and maintaining accurate accounting records
- Entering financial transactions into computer database
- Assist with stocking in vehicles
- Comply with Business Manager's requests with all other necessary administrative tasks
Do you have what it takes?
- We are looking for a team player with a great attitude who will maintain a professional demeanor and appearance
- The ideal candidate must be coachable, have strong communication skills, pay attention to detail, and possess strong time-management abilities
- Must be comfortable with computers and other office equipment such as scanners, faxes, and multi-line phone systems
- Must be willing to submit to pre-employment background check & drug screen
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and be at least 18 years of age due to insurance purposes
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
