As an Oncology Sales Consultant, you will play a vital role in promoting and selling oncology pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, hospitals, and pharmacies. You will be responsible for building strong relationships, providing product education, and achieving sales targets in the oncology market.
Key responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share for oncology products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, oncologists, pharmacists, and key decision-makers.
  • Provide product education and training to healthcare professionals on oncology products and treatment protocols.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on competitor activities.
  • Participate in conferences, meetings, and networking events to promote oncology products and expand the customer base.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with potential clients while adhering to company policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, medical affairs, and market access to ensure comprehensive product support.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and territory analysis to management on a regular basis.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments in oncology treatments, clinical studies, and industry trends.
  • Manage and prioritize time effectively to maximize customer-facing activities and achieve sales targets.

Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, pharmacology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of successful sales experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry, preferably in oncology.
  • Strong understanding of oncology treatments, products, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to build strong professional relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage a territory, and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales management tools for reporting and analysis.
  • Ability to travel frequently and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required.
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and compliance standards in pharmaceutical sales.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct in all business dealings.
  • Proactive and results-oriented with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and sales performance.
