On-Call Caregiver and Office Assistant

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCompensation: $17/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am -3:30pm

We are growing, and looking for key players to grow with us Join our family as we expand Assisting Hands

We are looking for an experienced and reliable caregiver to act as ON-CALL CAREGIVER.
They will fill-in when needed and ensure the highest quality of services are being provided for our clients.

This person will be present in the office 40 hours per week, answering to Sharon (Office Manager) and assisting in any way she needs.

Highest priority: Attending shifts we are unable to staff due to last-minute call-outs.

Caregiving requirements:
Proactive, adaptable, personable, professional, comfortable with any client
Valid DL and vehicle with insurance, willing to transport clients if needed
Willing to work with smokers and pets
Capable of strong, safe transfer assist, including gait belts, slide boards, etc.
Comfortable and confident with bedside brief changes

Office requirements:
- Scanning in documents, uploading paperwork
- Monitoring and following up with caregiver compliance
- Compiling new client folders for consultations
- Filing LTC and Home Align claims, submitting invoices
- Available to answer phones during high call volume
- If Sharon asks, may need to assist with orientations or consultations in a pinch

*Must have your own vehicle with valid DL and insurance.
