Job SummaryWe are seeking a Caregiver Mentor to provide support and guidance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their daily lives. As a Caregiver Mentor, you will work closely with our participants to help them achieve their goals and live independently.
Responsibilities- Provide one-on-one support and guidance to participants in their daily lives, including assistance with personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Help participants develop and achieve their goals, such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
- Assist participants with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with participants, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other Sevita team members to ensure seamless support and services.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 6 months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
- Excellent communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills.
- Patient, compassionate, and reliable individual with a strong work ethic.
- Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
- Competitive hourly rate of $18.
