The Strategic Sourcing Analyst will be responsible for supporting and helping to develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to ensure the procurement of high-quality materials and components at competitive prices. This role will support the Director of Strategic Sourcing and ensure that strategic sourcing goals are achieved. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with the internal team and suppliers. The Strategic Sourcing Analyst will work closely with product development, quality, and the supply chain team to ensure alignment with the company’s goals and standards.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Supply Chain Team in the development and implementation of approved strategies.
  • Identify and evaluate suppliers and prepare summary including potential risks and opportunities.
  • Review contract and agreements with suppliers and provide analysis for management review and approval.
  • Participate in project management meetings by supporting cross functional team in the implementation of sourcing strategies for cost reduction and resourcing projects.
  • Prepare relevant material and participate in project gate review sign-off meetings.
  • Lead EC workflow process for sourcing and materials team by working closely with engineering, quality, and materials team.
  • Supports Director of Strategic Sourcing with corporate procurement and resourcing projects to ensure financial goals are achieved and deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure sourced materials meet or exceed quality standards.
  • Work with quality assurance to ensure FAI and PPAPs are submitted and approved, suppliers and materials are notified, and the proper disposition of material.
  • Coordinate with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) set by Director of Strategic Sourcing.
  • Work closely with product development teams, engineering, and quality to understand material and component requirements.
  • Assess risks associated with sourcing activities and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and value improvement.
  • Ensure all sourcing activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote and enforce ethical sourcing practices and corporate social responsibility (CSR) standards.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers.
  • Apply Lean principles to streamline procurement processes and eliminate waste.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, preferably within the luxury goods or home appliance industry.
  • Experience in applying Lean principles and methodologies in a sourcing environment.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Superior cross-functional teamwork skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proven track record as results oriented professional.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance and supply chain management principles.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • Strong commitment to ethical sourcing and corporate social responsibility.
