Our facilities offer a combined total of 502 licensed beds and a medical staff of more than 160 physicians who specialize in various areas of healthcare.

Necessary qualifications and skills: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Arkansas licensure as an LPN. BLS CPR is required. ACLS is strongly preferred. Demonstrates competency and knowledge to assist the physician with procedures and minor surgeries.

Summary: Under the direct supervision and delegation of the physician, the nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care. Preps for procedures, anticipating what medical supplies will be required. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Serves as a resource nurse when oriented and so directed. Supports the organization’s mission, vision and values. Applies knowledge of patient’s age and cultural diversity, along with their spiritual and emotional needs into the provision of patient care. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.

Job Duties and Descriptions:

  • Assists physician with patient examinations.
  • May be required to assist with lifting and moving patients, pushing carts, wheelchairs, and other equipment.
  • Lifting or pushing up to 50 pounds.
  • Prepares exam rooms and procedure rooms for use by physician.
  • Replaces table paper, cleans and stocks exam rooms.
  • Always maintains patient confidentiality.
  • Administers injections or medications using appropriate techniques as ordered by the physician.
  • Exhibits dependability and reliability in work attendance.
