Gymkhana Gymnastics Administrative Assistant to the Leadership Team 

The mission of Gymkhana Gymnastics is to foster the physical, emotional and social development of children through unparalleled gymnastics instruction – and our staff make that happen 

For over forty years, Gymkhana has been Pittsburgh’s premier gymnastics school and we continue to grow. We are seeking a Recreational Program Director to join our team at our Wexford location. We are flexible with your schedule and can offer both part-time and full-time positions 

Job Purpose
To perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Provide support to our Leadership Team and employees, assisting in daily office needs, and managing our company's general administrative activities.

Compensation

  • $17.00/hour & up based on experience
  • Full-time employees are eligible to enroll in health insurance, dental, vision, other supplemental insurance (AFLAC), and a Simple IRA

Hours/Schedule

  • Full-time
  • Monday through Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
  • Evenings and weekends on occasion

Essential Duties

  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Organize and schedule meetings
  • Write and distribute emails, memos, letters, forms, etc.
  • Develop and maintain Leadership Team calendars
  • Develop and maintain filing systems
  • Develop and maintain database of projects status, etc.
  • Order break room, office, and janitorial supplies
  • Act as point of contact for internal personal

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Working knowledge of office equipment
  • Working knowledge of Mac computers (proficiency in Pages and Numbers)
  • Working knowledge of email and calendar programs (including Gmail)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Discretion with confidential information
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to multi-task

Experience/Education Requirements

  • Highschool diploma

Physical Demands

  • Perform light work - exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a neglible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
  • See, hear, talk, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity; kneel, sit, stand, walk, crouch, stoop, reach, pull, push, and other similar, repetitive tasks requiring physical activity. Walk on uneven surfaces. Ascend and descend stairs.
  • Able to operate standard office/computer equipment.
  • Employee must be able to work required hours, expected Monday through Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm, with evenings and weekends on occasions.
