Inside Sales Representative

Great opportunity with acompany located near the MIA Airport seeking an entry-level candidate who wants to learn about aviation and grow a career. A flexible schedule and availability to work weekends, holidays, and OT. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for spot quotations, making proactive sales calls, and managing allocations and bookings. She/he performs opportunity management and customer retention in a team with Outside Sales.

Responsibilities:

Phone and email communication with customers for potential business

Completion of verbal discussions with customers back in writing ·

Ensure requested bookings of shipments compliant with regulations for all countries

Origin countries, transit countries, and destination ·

Submission of quotations per customer requests and meeting perimeters as outlined.

Ensure calculated for profitability compliance ·

Identify potential opportunities and communicate with management o When the Customer indicates the type of movements required ·

Follow up with customers on Quotations given

Anticipated ship dates o If unsuccessful, pricing difference, solicit feedback ·

Follow up with smaller customers on potentials and opportunities

Finding the right product for Customer Needs and upsell to the next level when possible o Transport timeline o Special handling requirements ·

Ensure load ability Checks are completed on non-standard cargo with authorized agents for check ·

Assist in updates of customer information as needed in the IT database ·

Actively promote eChannel usage in communications with Customers

Ensure manager advised when Customers non-performance issues are below standard

Outline issues for management review and resolve

Quality Check of GHA duties when assigned or required

Report to management

Perform support duties as assigned


Required Qualifications ·

High School Diploma or GED

Clerical and Data entry skills

Professional communication Skills, Oral and Written

Analytical Skills to include problem-solving, detail, reasoning

Completion of carrier training courses


Essential functions:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access invoices, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operating a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a computer, calculator, copier, and printer.


Work Environment:

  • Office Setting- Working with others
  • Occasionally work in extremely bright or dim lighting conditions.


Requirements:

  • Education: GED/High School desired Experience


Shift hours:

Hybrid schedule: Office and Remote

Monday to Friday and some Saturdays

8 am to 430pm

9 am to 530pm
