Duncan-Parnell is growing and looking to add an Outside Sales and Business Development Representative to our Wilmington, NC office. This role is a critical position supporting and growing our customer base in our Signs & Graphics division.

Job Summary

The Outside Sales and Business Development Representative’s primary duties involve prospecting for new business within the construction, architectural and engineering industry, as well as managing and growing business within existing accounts.

Essential Functions and Duties

  • Securing new business from construction projects in the Wilmington greater market
  • Maintaining existing assigned accounts and seeking new opportunities for sales within those accounts
  • Customer targets will include General Contractors, Sub-Contractors, Surveyors, Owners/Developers, Engineers, Architects and Suppliers
  • Concentrating primarily on construction printing, signage, survey supplies and construction instruments
  • Logging contacts, opportunities, and activities in Salesforce
  • Actively participating in appropriate networking events that support and contribute to Duncan-Parnell sales growth
  • Staying current with product knowledge and trends
  • Utilizing creative skills to find, attract and retain business
  • Meeting/exceeding quota expectations (reviewed annually)
  • Additional tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Work experience with MS Office and CRM software (preferably Salesforce)
  • Local community involvement
  • Always strive to adhere to Duncan-Parnell’s Mission Statement
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record and reliable transportation to work
