Manufacturing Manager

Qualifications:

• An associate or bachelor's degree in management related to manufacturing field would be desired.

• 7-10 years minimum working in a production environment related to machined components.

• 3 years minimum in a management role with responsibilities and a minimum of 5 or more direct reports.

• Strong GD&T and drawing interpretation skills.

• Understanding of CAD/CAM and other software.

• Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.

• Excellent problem solving, interpersonal and conflict management skills.

• Experience with ISO and AS quality management system requirements.

• Familiarity with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems


Duties expectations:

• Develop, create, and implement production schedules for manufacturing operations.

• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.

• Collaborate with the quality team to address and resolve any quality issues.

• Implement best practices and lean manufacturing principles.

• Provide training and development opportunities to enhance technical skills.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations in machining operations.

• Maintain effective communication with all departments

• Communicate production updates, challenges, and solutions to upper management.

• Knowledge of CNC machining processes and equipment.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Ability to lead a technical team in a precision manufacturing environment.

• Analytical mindset to identify and resolve machining challenges.

• Ability to implement solutions to improve efficiency and quality.

• Clear and effective communication skills, both technical and non-technical.

• Ability to convey manufacturing and related information to different stakeholders.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage production schedules.

• Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in machining operations.

• Proactive approach to identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives in production.

• Understanding of budgeting and financial principles to manage costs effectively.

• Aware of quality policies, procedures, objectives, contribution to conformance of product, safety and ethics
