Network Engineer

Primary location - Plymouth (Serving both Plymouth and Oostburg locations)

As a Network Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing and maintaining our network infrastructure. Also responsible for determining and recommending the procurement of network hardware, software, and telecommunications equipment. You will ensure that network software and hardware meet company and department goals, uptime SLAs, and collaborate with our IT team to drive innovation and excellence.

What You Can Offer

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, with an emphasis in Network Administration, Network Security, or equivalent experience. Cisco certification preferred.
  • 3-5 years of network administration or related experience. Proven Cisco DNA Center and Cisco ISE experience preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of routing protocols including TCP/IP concepts, configuration, and use including Cisco routing, switching, ISE, DNA Center, Firepower, and Cisco Secure Endpoint.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Extensive knowledge in Microsoft technologies including Office 365, Window Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and SQL Server.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects against specific timelines.
  • Ability to provide after-hours, on-call support to end-users and other Network Team staff (weeknights/weekends).
  • Knowledge of application firewall administration and policies.
  • Knowledge of anti-virus, content filtering, certificates, authentication systems, intrusion detection, and various network and security monitoring tools.
  • Ability to work with end-users in a courteous, patient, and professional manner.
