The Regulatory Reporting Analyst will play a critical role in interpreting regulatory guidelines, gathering data from various sources, and preparing reports for submission to regulatory authorities. This role requires strong regulatory knowledge, attention to detail, and proficiency in data analysis and reporting.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Interpret regulatory requirements and guidelines issued by relevant authorities (e.g., SEC, FINRA, FCA) to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Collect, validate, and analyze financial and operational data from internal systems and departments to support regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports, filings, and disclosures in accordance with regulatory deadlines and standards.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of regulatory reporting processes, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, and compliance teams, to gather information and address reporting inquiries.
  • Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and industry standards, assessing their impact on reporting obligations and implementing necessary adjustments.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and reconciliation processes to verify the accuracy and completeness of regulatory reports.
  • Assist in responding to regulatory inquiries and requests for information, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Participate in regulatory examinations and audits, providing support and documentation as needed.
  • Stay informed about emerging regulatory developments and trends, communicating potential impacts to management and stakeholders.

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Regulatory Reporting Analyst, Financial Analyst, or similar role in a regulated industry (financial services preferred).
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and reporting frameworks (e.g., GAAP, IFRS, SEC filings).
  • Proficiency in data analysis and financial reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Bloomberg).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing and reviewing complex financial data and reports.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting software and systems is advantageous.
