About the Role

Our CFO is seeking a strong team member to:

  • Manage the quarterly billing process
  • Analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
  • Prepare quarterly management reports
  • Track and analyze financial performance in collaboration with department heads
  • Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives and executive decision-making
  • Support the finance team with periodic accounting functions

Key Responsibilities

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Working closely with the CFO and department heads to develop annual operating budgets and monthly forecast updates.
  • Financial Reporting: Preparing and analyzing quarterly budget versus actual reports and reviewing with department leaders to understand deviations and planned adjustments.
  • Client Billing Calculation: Calculating quarterly client fees based on market values and fee schedules.
  • Monthly Closing Process: Supporting the monthly closing process through reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Process Improvement: Identifying areas for process and system improvements, proposing solutions, and participating in or leading improvement projects.

What We're Looking For

  • Education: B.S. in accounting or finance is required.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Skills: Excellent Excel skills and a keen eye for detail. Tableau experience a plus
  • Location: This role is for applicants located within the United States who will not require sponsorship for employment now or in the future.
