Symbiotic Services is seeking a Senior BI Analyst to spearhead Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehouse projects. In this role, you will be involved in all phases of the project lifecycle and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our BI strategy. The position requires strong project management skills, hands-on expertise, and participation in both business and technical analysis and solution development.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.S. or B.A. degree in business, MIS, or equivalent required
- Six to eight years of previous work experience in the business or IT field required
- Proper U.S. work authorization
- Experience with project managing IT project lifecycle preferred
SKILLS – BI FOCUS:
- Minimum five years of development experience with BI and Data Warehouse solutions using Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)/ETL, Azure, AWS, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or similar technologies
- Intermediate to advanced SQL skills required
- Experience with designing and developing relational data models to support BI reporting is a plus
- Proficient in MS Office (MS Excel "power user" a plus)
- Proficient in Windows operating system (Unix experience a plus)
- Ability to collaborate with project teams and clients to understand data requirements, architecture, and objectives
- Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes
- Skilled in developing and optimizing SQL queries and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues promptly
- Experience working closely with cross-functional teams, including executives, business users, and IT teams
- Up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends in data engineering and analytics

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
- Salary: $100,000 to $125,000 per year
