Description

:

Data Transformation Expert:

Source, cleanse, and prepare data from disparate sources (databases, spreadsheets, APIs, etc.) ensuring accuracy, consistency, and suitability for analysis.

Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to streamline data preparation for Power BI reporting.

Power BI Architect:

Design and develop visually impactful and informative dashboards using Power BI, highlighting KPIs, critical trends, and actionable insights.

Master DAX calculations to create custom metrics and perform complex data analysis within Power BI.

Build robust and performant data models within Power BI to power dynamic and interactive reporting.

End-to-End Ownership:

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather detailed and accurate reporting requirements.

Manage the complete lifecycle of BI solutions, from design and development to deployment, maintenance, and user support.

Proactively update and enhance existing Power BI dashboards to ensure continuous value and adaptability to evolving business needs.

Analytical Thinker:

Conduct insightful data analysis using Power BI capabilities to identify patterns, trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.

Present findings clearly and concisely, translating complex insights into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.

Collaborative Partner:

Partner with business teams to deeply understand their unique reporting needs, proactively suggest innovative reporting solutions, and offer guidance based on your Power BI expertise.

Provide training and ongoing support to empower users to make the most of Power BI's capabilities for data exploration and decision-making.

Qualifications:

Power BI Mastery: 2+ years of experience in Power BI development, including dashboard design, DAX, data modeling, and visualization.

Data Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL and understanding of data warehousing and ETL concepts.

Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze data, identify insights, and translate them into clear recommendations.

Visual Communication: Talent for creating compelling, user-friendly data visualizations that effectively tell a story.

Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communication skills to work with stakeholders, understand needs, and explain technical concepts.

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Data Science, Business, etc.).

Certifications in Power BI or other BI tools.
