A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FORENSIC INTERVIEWER
As a Forensic Interviewer, you play a key role in providing interventions, coordination, collaboration, and advocacy services on behalf of children and families. This position utilizes trauma-informed, evidence-based practices and policies in its service delivery. The Forensic Interviewer works with law enforcement and prosecutors to ensure court-admissible information is collected, provides expert witness testimony for court, provides and coordinates information to all invested parties, and serves as liaison to other treatment agencies. Additionally, the forensic interviewer's duties include conducting forensic interviews of children and adolescents when an allegation of abuse has been made or a traumatic event has been witnessed.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A FORENSIC INTERVIEWER
- Bachelor's Degree in psychology , criminal justice or related field
- Two years professional experience working with families or children where abuse & violence have been identified issues or with criminal justice or child welfare system
