Family Recovery Court Support Specialist

Position Overview: Clark County (Indiana) Circuit Court 4 is currently looking for qualified candidates for the role of Case Manager. This position plays a crucial role in supporting participants of the Family Recovery Court (FRC) and engaging with families involved with the Department of Child Services (DCS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as an advocate for FRC participants.
- Work collaboratively with families and DCS.
- Maintain comprehensive client files and ensure data entry accuracy.
- Monitor compliance with FRC and DCS requirements.
- Facilitate group activities and administer necessary interviews as per grant requirements.
- Attend court sessions and meetings as mandated.
Qualifications: Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree along with relevant work experience. The Case Manager will operate independently while being supervised by the Circuit Court 4 Judge and Magistrate.
Skills and Knowledge: The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of case management principles, characteristics of substance use disorders and mental health issues, and the fundamentals of the Criminal Justice System. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to identify and recommend resources for participants are essential.
Work Environment: Some travel may be necessary, including attendance at conferences. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional evening availability required. Flexibility in scheduling and compensatory time for hours worked outside regular business hours will be provided.
Compensation: Salary is negotiable and will be above the minimum based on relevant experience.
