Position Overview: Clark County (Indiana) Circuit Court 4 is in search of dedicated candidates for the role of Case Manager. This position is crucial in providing support and advocacy for participants in the Family Recovery Court (FRC) program.
Role Responsibilities: The Case Manager will serve as a vital resource for families engaged with the Department of Child Services (DCS). Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as an advocate for families within the FRC.
- Monitoring compliance with FRC and DCS requirements.
- Facilitating group activities and administering necessary interviews as mandated by grants.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to identify and recommend resources for participants.
- Maintaining accurate client files and performing data entry tasks.
- Attending court sessions and relevant meetings as needed.
Qualifications: Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree along with relevant professional experience. The Case Manager will operate independently while receiving guidance from the Circuit Court 4 Judge and Magistrate.
Skills and Knowledge: Successful applicants will demonstrate understanding of:
- Case management principles and practices.
- Substance use disorders and mental health issues.
- The fundamentals of the Criminal Justice System.
Work Environment: This position requires some travel, including attendance at conferences. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with potential evening availability. Flexibility in scheduling and compensatory time for hours worked beyond regular business hours will be accommodated.
Compensation: Salary is negotiable and will be determined based on relevant experience.
