We strive to maximize safety, quality and the overall experience of visiting the dentist by creating a stress-free environment. This will improve oral health and increase the quality of life for our patients and their families. We are looking for a competent Front Office Dental Assistant with at least 6 months experience working in the dental front office setting. This ideal candidate will work as a team member to ensure the patient flow runs smoothly.


Office Hours: Tuesday – Friday 10:30-7:30p & Saturdays 9:30-3:30p *CLOSED MON & SUN* *Some Mondays when kids are out of school we will open* Pay depends on experience

 

General Summary of Duties:

• Provide excellent customer service and build trust with patients and their families

• Scheduling/rescheduling appointments

• Verify Insurance Medicaid/PPO

• Answering phones and checking voicemails daily

• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures

• Welcome patients at check-in

• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, including flexibility, priority setting, problem solving, and conflict resolutions

• Maintain highly positive attitude

• Utilize time and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner Skills

• Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods

• Understanding of health & safety regulations

• Good computer skills

• Basic Math Skills

• Experience using Dentrix & Open Dental preferred

• Excellent communication and people skills

• Attention to detail

• Well-organized and reliable

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Additional certification or training is a plus
