Are you looking to help learn and grow in a company? If so, then we have the position just for you At Venture Metals + it’s the teams we have inside our recycling centers plants and offices that make us who we are as a company.

What You'll Do:

As a Hands-on Manager/ Supervisor you will collaborate in a team environment – Working with Sales, Purchasing, HR, Accounting, Safety and Maintenance departments on a regular basis.

  • Modify, repair and install all types of machinery and mechanical equipment while observing all applicable Safety Policies and Procedures
  • Assist operators and maintenance personnel in performing preventive and breakdown maintenance.
  • Develop and lead a Safety Culture that is consistent with VM standards.
  • Leads all department personnel in a professional manner toward achieving company performance goals with emphasis on safety, quality, and meeting all company standards.
  • Collaborate with General Manager to ensure accomplishment of plant and regional goals.
  • Able to perform maintenance/repair at heights or adverse conditions safely including adhering to and following LOTO procedures.
  • Both mechanically and electrically inclined with experience working in both areas
  • Scrap Metal experience a plus, but not required.
  • Other duties as assigned
