Infiniti of Sarasota is looking for automotive sales professional who will establish positive relationships with our valued clients and treat them with honesty and respect. If you've ever been turned off by automotive companies who seem like they'll do and say anything to take people's money, experience the difference of working for a local, family-owned and operated organization who cares about their community.

Previous auto sales experience is preferred, especially new cars and/or luxury vehicles, but not required. We care more about your drive, your attitude, and your willingness to learn than your work experience.
First year expected pay $60-80,000

Automotive Sales Position and Pay Highlights:

  • New sales associates receive training pay for 12 weeks
  • Competitive commission-against-draw pay structure with outstanding earning potential
  • Company paid factory training
  • Closed Sundays
  • Rotating evenings - we close at 6pm during the week and 5pm on Saturday
  • Full-time benefits available including medical and other insurance, 401k, and more
  • 2 weeks of paid vacation after one year

Automotive Sales Representative Duties

As an Automotive Sales Representative, you will be directly responsible for selling new and used vehicles by appointment and to walk-in prospects. You will assist customers throughout every stage of their auto purchase and ensure that they find the vehicle that is right for them.

Your specific duties will include:

  • Consulting with customers to determine their wants and needs in a new or used vehicle
  • Conducting walk-arounds with customers and demonstrating automobile features
  • Ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork
  • Conducting price negotiations on vehicles
  • Demonstrating an understanding that business is built on excellent customer satisfaction and being committed to providing first-rate customer service
  • Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business
  • Maintaining an excellent knowledge of new products, features and accessories available, and explaining their benefits to customers
  • Attending product and sales training courses paid for and provided by the dealership at no cost to you
  • Complying with all company policies, procedures and safety standards

Automotive Sales Representative Requirements

As an Automotive Sales Representative, you must embody Sunset Automotive Group's stellar community reputation of honesty, integrity and superior customer service. We are looking for outgoing, enthusiastic, approachable individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where every day brings new challenges. It is also important that you display excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

The ideal Automotive Sales Representative will also have:

  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Strong follow-through skills
  • Ability to read and process paperwork
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record, with no DUI in past five years
  • Verifiable work history
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Strong English skills
