Position Summary:

Somerset Family Dentistry looking for an energetic, dedicated and positive person to join our front office team

We are a group practice seeking an upbeat and friendly receptionist to help answer phones, greet, check-in and follow up with patients. You will also act as Treatment Coordinator, building trusting relationships with our patients.

Our organization offers training and a chance to grow

Dental office experience is required and cross training in Dental Assisting is a big plus

Position Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome patients
  • Proficient in using phone systems, transferring calls, taking detailed messages when necessary
  • Scheduling patients appropriately based off of scheduling template
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Treatment Coordination - review treatment plans with patients including going over financial aspect and their out of pocket cost, explaining insurance benefits and building rapport and trust
  • Creating fun activities for our patients to participate in

Qualifications:

  • The ability to multitask and also prioritize tasks
  • Organization skills and attention to detail a must
  • Experience and proven success in treatment coordination
  • Thorough knowledge of dental benefits
  • Bilingual - English/Spanish
  • 1+ years of Dental and Treatment Coordination experience
  • Experience with Open Dental software a plus

Schedule: Monday-Friday + one Saturday per month

Pay Range: $18-$21, depending on experience
