Role Summary:

The Senior Systems Analyst (SSA) delivers essential technical support throughout SECU by managing various daily banking systems operations and processes. Collaborating with a team, the SSA oversees the administration and support of multiple business systems and spearheads system upgrades. This position serves as the intermediary between business stakeholders, system vendors, and internal teams to identify and address technical challenges. Responsibilities include design, configuration, documentation, test plan development, and testing of projects and new initiatives for diverse business systems utilizing programming and data analysis tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, business management, or process management) or a combination of education and experience that equips the candidate with the necessary skills and knowledge for the role.
  • Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in banking/credit union processing, operations, or customer service.
  • A minimum of three years in the banking sector with a focus on the technical aspects of core processing systems, demonstrating a strong understanding of core system infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio).
  • Familiarity with credit union or banking operations.
  • Experience in system applications and the support/administration of systems is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Fiserv DNA and Loan Director is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Background in financial institutions is advantageous.
  • Experience in gathering and documenting end-user system requirements.
  • Experience in user acceptance testing.
  • Vendor management experience.
  • Experience with core system conversions.
  • Project management experience.
