Position Purpose/Summary

Fastwyre Broadband is committed to providing the highest quality of service to the communities, customers, and employees we serve. As a Recruiter, you will play a vital role in attracting and selecting top talent to meet our organization's staffing needs. Your responsibilities will include sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, evaluating qualifications, and building relationships with potential candidates. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the telecommunications industry and a proven track record in recruitment. Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  2. Source potential candidates through various channels, such as job boards, social media platforms, networking events, and industry-specific resources.
  3. Review resumes and applications, conduct initial screenings, and assess candidates' qualifications and fit for specific roles within the organization.
  4. Conduct interviews and evaluate candidates based on their skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  5. Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process.
  6. Provide timely and constructive feedback to candidates throughout the selection process.
  7. Conduct reference checks and background screenings for selected candidates.
  8. Collaborate with hiring managers and HR team to negotiate and finalize job offers, kick off the onboarding process for newly hired employees, and ensure all necessary paperwork, documentation, and pre-employment requirements are completed.
  9. Assist in coordinating and conducting new employee orientation sessions.
  10. Build and maintain a strong network of potential candidates for current and future job opportunities.
  11. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  12. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor insights to enhance recruitment strategies and approaches.
  13. Participate in job fairs, career events, and industry conferences to promote the company and attract potential candidates.
  14. Collaborate with the HR team to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to recruitment and hiring practices.
  15. Contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes and suggest innovative strategies to attract top talent.
  16. Performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  5. Ability to work independently and manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
  6. Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations.
  7. Proficiency in using various recruitment tools, social media platforms, and job boards for candidate sourcing.
  8. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  9. Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency.
  10. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  11. Ability to use appropriate computer programs (including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite) which includes having proficient computer skills and the ability to adapt and learn as programs and processes change.
  12. Ability to work as a team member and exert initiative to work independently to reach a goal.
  13. Ability to embrace change in the workplace while encouraging others to seek innovative approaches.
  14. Knowledge of and the ability to comply with Company’s Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) regulations and procedures.
  15. Ability to work a flexible work schedule, as needed, to best serve our customers.
Qualifications

At a minimum, the Recruiter must have:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Or 3+ years’ experience as a Recruiter in the telecommunications industry without a degree.
  2. Professional certifications in recruitment or human resources management are a plus.
  3. Proven experience as a Recruiter or a similar role in the telecommunications industry.
  4. Familiarity with various recruitment tools and applicant tracking systems (ATS) – experience with ADP Workforce Now is a plus.
  5. Understanding of the telecommunications industry, including its functions, roles, and technical skill requirements.
