BRANCH DIRECTOR – MISSOURI BRANCH OFFICE 

 

Job Category: Administrative  

Job Status: Full-time, exempt position 

Reports to: President Missouri Regional Operations/ VP Regional Operations 


Responsibilities: 

Administrative Leadership and Management 

  • Provide leadership/stewardship of FAC by active involvement in all programs/services
  • Represent FAC with external constituency groups (government & private) to increase fundraising dollars & program referrals
  • Implementing 2-3 annual development events
  • Company culture/employee satisfaction in the branch office
  • Measure effectiveness + execute all internal & external processes
  • Oversee daily operations and collaborate with the agency’s shared departments to improve services (HR, PQI, Facilities, IT, and Marketing)
  • Provide reports on the operating condition of FAC
  • Promote regular opportunities for staff feedback on program operations
  • Lead to the next level by developing/implementing recruitment, training & retention strategies
  • Provide mentoring to all staff supervised
  • Promote healthy communication between colleagues for information flow & to address concerns
  • Implement quarterly events for foster/adoptive parents
  • Ensure that all program activities are consistent with the mission & values of FAC
  • Collaborate with other departments so FAC’s efforts to assist clients & maintain licensing/contract/Council on Accreditation standards are coordinated for maximum effectiveness
  • Promote agency culture, cultural competency, and performance improvement outcomes
  • Attend/participate in all scheduled meetings, court hearings & trainings
  • Maintain strong, open communication with direct supervisor

Outcome Planning/PQI 

  • Measure effectiveness of branch  activities, analyzing community connections & revenue results
  • Complete agency reports & statistics
  • Participate in the evaluation & implementation of service improvement 

Strategic Planning/Program Management  

  • Provide input in short- and long-term planning, evaluation & positioning within FAC
  • Implement agenda & development of growth strategies for FAC

Financial Management 

  • Assist in budget preparation: income & expense projections & achieve operational goals, working with the CFO
  • Effectively manage within budget, reporting progress and challenges to the Regional Operations staff
  • Ensure continued financial viability of FAC’s programs. Work with MO Regional President & staff when planning processes

 

Qualifications & Preferred Skills 

  • MS/MA (or BA/BS + 2-5 years work in non-profit fundraising) in applicable field + at least 2 years experience providing senior leadership & supervising staff across a broad area
  • Experience creating/driving analytic framework for planning/managing organizational change in a fast growing organization
  • Resourcefulness in setting priorities, proposing new ways of creating efficiencies, and guiding investment in people/systems
  • Strong public presentation skills
  • Strategic thinker
  • Organizational & planning skills
  • Understanding of governmental & private funding streams for social service programs
  • Experience with broader community policy development & implementation/systemic advocacy
  • Commitment to the principles of support & advocacy for foster & adoptive families
