1st Shift: Experienced CNC Lathe Operator
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC lathe machines for tasks including turning, threading, and boring.
Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings to understand project specifications and desired outcomes.
Input and adjust machine settings and commands based on instructions.
Load raw materials and parts onto machines.
Conduct test runs and verify that machine outputs meet specifications.
Oversee full production cycles and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality results.
Inspect and measure finished products to confirm they meet quality standards.
Perform regular maintenance and checks to ensure machines are functioning properly.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a CNC lathe operator.
Proficiency with CNC lathe machines and precision measurement tools.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
Basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM.
Strong mechanical aptitude and good math skills.
Attention to detail and results-driven approach.

2nd Shift: Entry-Level CNC Lathe Operator
Responsibilities:
Assist in operating CNC lathe machines, focusing on loading materials and basic machine setup.
Learn to read blueprints and mechanical drawings with guidance.
Follow instructions to enter machine commands and settings.
Load raw materials and parts onto machines and assist in performing test runs.
Monitor machine operations and make basic adjustments under supervision.
Inspect finished products for quality and ensure they meet specifications.
Support daily maintenance and upkeep of machines.
Requirements:
Entry-level experience or strong interest in CNC lathe operations.
Basic understanding of CNC lathe machinery and measurement tools.
Willingness to learn to read mechanical documents and blueprints.
Basic computer skills and eagerness to learn programming and CAD/CAM.
Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills.
