Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable accounts, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
  • Review and reconcile accounts payable sub-ledger to the general ledger monthly.
  • Manage vendor relations, including negotiation of payment terms and dispute resolution.
  • Prepare and review accounts payable reports, providing detailed analysis and insights for management.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and company policies.
  • Supervise and train organizational peers around accounts payable best practices and internal department policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall financial efficiency.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounts payable experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
