E-Discovery Administrator

Venatore has an immediate opening for a Systems Administrator supporting E-Discovery/Records Management on the CITS contract for USCENTCOM. The position is based in Tampa, Florida.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Systems Administrator to join our eDiscovery team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining and optimizing our computer systems, Applications, and servers. This role will provide essential support to ensure the efficient and secure operation of our IT infrastructure.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
- Perform routine system updates, patches, and upgrades.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
- Collaborate with others to optimize network performance and reliability.
- Provide technical support to end-users.
- Assist in setting up and configuring application user accounts and access permissions.
- Collaborate to resolve user issues in a timely manner.
- Assist in implementing and managing backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Perform routine data backups and ensure data integrity.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Prepare reports on system performance and incident resolutions.
- Assist in implementing and enforcing security policies and protocols (STIGs).
- Monitor system logs for errors.
- Participate in security audits and vulnerability assessments (STIGs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement technology solutions that support business objectives.
- Assist in evaluating and recommending IT hardware and software purchases.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Building, deploying, and maintaining the E-Discovery application suite (Content Manager/Control Point/Active Navigation)
- Tuning system performance and maintaining system documentation.
- Installing proprietary software/implementing critical system patches.
- Interacting with end-users and evaluating vendor products to develop functional requirements for enhancements and changes.
- Interfacing with third-party vendors for troubleshooting calls.
- Scheduling, planning, and overseeing system upgrades.
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and remediating a variety of systems issues which may not have previously documented solutions.
- Reviewing and preparing documentation for systems, tests, and process guides.
- Supporting projects for a variety of initiatives to enhance the efficiency, capability, or security of the environment.
- Collaborating with other enterprise IT teams to address operational requirements.
- Ensuring problems are tracked and escalated at the proper priority level.
- Producing various datasets and informational packets to management to support ongoing efforts for process improvements.
Education and/or Certifications:
Required:
- Applicable DoD 8140 or DoD 8570 Certification
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of computer systems, networking, and IT infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems.
- Basic knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Clearance Requirement:
- Active TS/SCI
Travel Requirements:
- Required USCENTCOM Exercise support of up to 10% Travel during the Year to OCONUS Locations
