Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart is seeking a full-time Assistant Director of Admission. The Assistant Director of Admission will report to and work closely with the Director of Admission and will join a highly collaborative, innovative, and experienced faculty. This role is committed to recruiting and enrolling mission appropriate students to attend the Woodlands Academy day and boarding programs, with a focus on growing day and boarding student enrollment.


Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart is one of 25 Sacred Heart schools in the United States and Canada. Responsibilities include:


  • Customer Relationship Management – phone, email and in-person recruitment, interviewing, and relationship-building throughout the admissions process from inquiry to re-enrollment.
  • Admission event registration, management, and follow-up in coordination with staff and faculty.
  • Conduct tours for prospective applicants.
  • Plan and execute recruitment events (Open House, Mathalon, Scholastic Bowl, etc.).
  • International liaison to agencies and families.
  • Conduct online interviews for all international applicants.
  • Recruit internationally and domestically.
  • Collect application materials and ensure upload to Blackbaud.
  • Facilitate and confirm payments with business office.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to ensure admission process reflects the mission of the school.
  • Coordinate enrolled student transition to office of academic life.
  • Support transition from applicant to student including participation in new student events.
  • Attend local and international recruitment events.
  • VIP Group visit coordinator (scholarship organizations, school Principals, consultants, and school groups).
  • Scholarship program liaison between external organization and internal departments.
  • Participate on the Admission, Tuition Assistance, and other committees as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Passion for promoting the value of an all-girls high school experience
  • Self-motivated, organized, and works well independently
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Required)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with adolescents and adults
  • Work experience in schools or youth programming organizations
  • Support, implement, and model the Goals and Criteria of Sacred Heart Schools
  • Uphold professional standards of personal presentation, discretion, punctuality, and clear, direct, open communication
  • A commitment to cultural diversity and ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • Upon initial offer of employment, successful completion of criminal and sexual offender background checks
  • Willingness to be an active, enthusiastic member of the Woodlands community, engaging in the life of the school by attending assemblies, meetings, events, etc..
