THE ROLE: The Transaction Manager will facilitate acquisitions and dispositions of properties, working effectively with multiple internal departments and escrow and title companies to ensure a seamless process.

DAY IN THE LIFE:

  • Effectively and efficiently manage property acquisitions and dispositions within company standards and required timelines.
  • Manage acquisition loans to purchase properties and refinance transactions by working with our lenders to obtain the necessary documentation to secure construction loans when needed.
  • Provide accurate and timely completion of loan information in lot attributes in HB1.
  • Input and deliver accurate closing binders in applicable SharePoint files.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and management to create strategic company-wide processes to improve the overall
  • transparency and efficiency of our acquisition, disposition, and refinance processes.
  • Own the transaction process from beginning to end with attention to detail to every step of the process.
  • Point of contact for the division, internal lenders, corporate, title and escrow teams for all property acquisitions, loans, and dispositions through closing.
  • Ensure accuracy of calculations and data input into HB1 as well as uploading complete and accurate documentation into the proper files in SharePoint.
  • Know potential challenges and provide proactive communication to discuss contractual and financial issues and resolve challenges as needed.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the new construction build process and how this role is critical for our construction teams to manage starts timely.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • 5 years’ experience in the real estate industry preferred, having hands-on experience with real estate Purchase and Sale Agreements and the settlement process, working with sales team members, lenders, title, and escrow partners.
  • Knowledge of property acquisitions, bridge and construction loans, new home construction processes, required permits, notices, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Certified Notary Public preferred.
  • State specific DRE license preferred.
  • Knowledge of Homebuyer 1 (HB1) preferred.
  • Understanding of the homebuilding process and our role in providing accurate information for other departments to access data and maneuver quickly as needed.
  • Financial acumen to understand budgets and financial information.

The compensation range for this role is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
