ACERTUS is an automotive logistics company that offers portfolio of services that span across the vehicle lifecycle. ACERTUS Business line of Title and Registration Services is seeking a Vendor Manager of the Title and Registration Transportation Services to join our team. The Manager partners with senior level operations executives to help drive operational activities and set strategic goals to drive performance amongst our state relationships and vendors across all 50 states. This role is primarily focused on the management of our vendor community which includes the following: driving vendor performance, capacity planning for seasonal volumes, overall relationship management of our 100+ vendor community.

Additionally, in this role, you will assist in planning and monitoring of the day-to-day running of the business and ensure smooth progress. There is a high level of interaction with multiple areas of the business and ensure that our business is well coordinated and productive by overseeing its procedures and operational activities. This role is responsible for regular evaluation of our vendor performance and driving solutions to make short term decisions that drive results or removes barriers across the Title and Registration business unit.

Schedule: Monday thru Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Ability to travel as needed.

Pay: Based on Experience.

What will you be doing?

  • Become versed in all processes and client expectations in all matters related to title and license, building strong relationships.
  • Developing a long-term Vendor roadmap that aligns to the overall goals and objectives of the T&R Business unit.
  • Building relationships across vendor community across 50+ states
  • Driving strategy for how Vendors can impact and increase performance for our largest customers.
  • Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe, secure environment; developing personal growth opportunities
  • Coach, develop and mentor staff and provide direction to solve problems, accomplish team results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standard
  • Establish strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, financial, service, and operations information; identifying and evaluating trends and options; choosing a course of action; defining objectives; evaluating outcomes.
  • Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvement.
  • All other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years previous operational/client facing leadership experience
  • Process improvement and/or change management experience
  • Experience in growing, managing and inspiring internal teams; strong leadership and organizational skills must be complemented by relationship building management style.
  • Experience in working with senior-level leadership
  • Strong client focused background, with clear and substantive speaking, writing and presentation skills
  • Intermediate experience in a Windows computer system environment and Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Experience in high volume processing or call center environment is a plus, but not required
  • Address all stakeholder needs in a timely manner
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to develop fast relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Prioritize multi projects of conflicting deadlines and ensure delivery on time with expected results. Previous experience managing projects is helpful.
  • Must be extremely detail oriented with excellent management, leadership and communication skills
  • Strong people management skills require the ability to direct and train individuals on a team of 15-20 to have successful outcomes.
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills and can multi-task and prioritize an ever-changing workload. Requires an individual that can serve as a business partner between IT and operations as the short-term goals include the use of technology to improve efficiency.
  • Personal responsibility to manage change.
