As a MicroGenDX Hospital Account Executive, you will develop and execute a business plan for all hospitals in your territory. You are tasked to sell and promote the MicroGenDX service lines to all known medical specialties within each of your territory’s hospital systems. You are responsible for the execution and training of the new account setup checklist; the arrangement and delivery of customer/clinician meetings; customer in-servicing; customer training (i.e. lunch and learns); and the preparation and delivery of clinician/customer presentations. You are ultimately responsible for the achievement of assigned sales targets and objectives in accordance with and adherence to local, state, and federal laws.

Requirements:

  • Develop relationships within all Advent Hospital Departments/Specialties to position MicroGenDX’s NGS value proposition with the Microbiology lab, the Infectious Disease, Pulmonology, Critical Care and Urology Departments.
  • Develop a sales plan to expand the use of MicroGenDX’s NGS service lines in Advent and other contracted hospital labs and departments.
  • Actively participate in professional associations, meetings, conferences, and seminars to develop new target leads and build prospective sales pipelines.
  • Where appropriate work with other MicroGenDX Departments and resources to initiate and support research using MicroGenDx’s technology to advance the diagnosis of illnesses and infections (areas of particular interest include Primary Care, Wound Care and Women’s Health, Orthopedics, Infectious Disease, and Urology).
  • Increase the adoption of MicroGenDX’s NGS service lines across all hospital specialties within the Advent Hospital System
  • Increase the understanding and adoption of MicroGenDx’s testing solutions through the ongoing training, support, and education of hospital staff within each relevant Specialty (i.e. Urology, Orthopedics, ENT, Wound Care, etc.)
  • Through the use of MicroGenDX’s clinical studies and sales materials clearly communicate the difference between Cultures, PCR, and MicroGenDX’s NGS solution
  • Work cross-functionally with other MicroGenDX departments and resources to support clinical trials, and marketing and product development initiatives.
