Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Construction Inspector for a direct hire position with a well-respected organization focused on revitalizing local communities. In this role, you will oversee residential construction projects, ensuring that all work meets quality standards and building codes. If you have a passion for making a difference and experience in construction inspection, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects. Responsibilities:
  • Inspect homes to assess and document necessary repairs for roofing, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems.
  • Write detailed work scopes to restore homes to safe living conditions.
  • Coordinate with homeowners to determine repair needs and manage expectations.
  • Solicit bids, award contracts, and oversee contractor and volunteer work.
  • Ensure all repairs are completed to scope and quality standards.
  • Conduct final inspections to verify compliance with safety requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Associate’s degree in business or a related field with 1-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Required experience in the construction field, with a strong understanding of project management.
  • Proficiency in tracking projects using CRM or construction software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual skills are preferred.
  • Strong commitment to safety protocols and practices.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license and comfort with driving a company vehicle.

In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future & continued salary growth
