TITLE: Network Cloud Engineer

LOCATION: Eagan, MN – Onsite (first 1-3 months), then Remote

SCHEDULE: Full-time

SUMMARY: As a Network Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical network, providing excellent customer service, utilize the internal ticketing system, and collaborate across the internal team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Technical Network Responsibilities:
    1. Setup Microsoft 365 tenant, including best practices.
    2. Cloud security, including conditional access rules.
    3. SharePoint architecture, design, setup and administration.
    4. Power Automate to setup workflow rules.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service:
    1. Delight our clients with a friendly and helpful experience.
    2. Provide the client with advanced remote and onsite troubleshooting.
    3. Communicate to the client the status of their ticket every step of the way, notify them of any changes or outages related to their issue.
  • Use Internal Ticketing System:
    1. Managing and recording all work through our ticketing system.
    2. Work on and resolve escalated Helpdesk Tickets.
    3. Make sure that client documentation in well maintained.
    4. Split tickets that have several issues into their own individual ticket.
    5. Make sure that tickets aren’t “stale” throughout the process.
  • Collaborate Across Internal Team:
    1. Mentor the “junior” service team members.
    2. Follow all our security procedures and keep a vigilant eye for security issues.
    3. Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change.
    4. Contribute to the process of innovative change effectively.
    5. Undertake other duties as required by the COO or CEO.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 years of experience working with Microsoft 365 space – conditional access and power apps.
  • 5 years of infrastructure, hardware, Wi-Fi, switches and security and VLAN isolations and tagging.
  • Microsoft 365 Tenant
  • SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams – setup and administration
  • Microsoft Power Automate
  • Microsoft Azure setup and administration
  • Scripting and automation tools
  • Familiarity with Windows Active Directory, Google Workplace and virtualized environments.
