WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Provide high-quality customer service, manage patient queries, and address phone calls
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to data privacy and HIPAA regulations
  • Organize and maintain office files, documents, and records
  • Offer clerical and administrative support across multiple departments
  • Enhance office efficiency through process improvements
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable, ensure precise financial record-keeping and patient billing
  • Collaborate with the finance team to resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues
  • Support billing and coding processes to ensure accurate and timely submissions
  • Assist in preparing reports related to billing and administrative activities
  • Maintain inventory levels, manage stock, and coordinate ordering and shipping logistics

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO ALTEAS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong administrative and clerical skills
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations, including HIPAA
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in medical billing or medical records management is a plus
  • Professional certification(s) (CPC, CCA, CCS, CCS-P, or CPC-H) is preferred
