Delaware, United States Debrand Solutions Inc Full time
Job DescriptionJob Description

Who We Are
Our world has a waste problem and we’re tackling it head-on. Through next-life logistics for apparel and footwear, we help one of the most planet-damaging industries course correct. We help brands extend the life of their products — and the precious resources used to make them — as many times and ways possible.
We work with transformative companies such as Lululemon, Canada Goose, Aritzia, and Everlane. We help strengthen their whole supply chain by finding next-life solutions for their surplus inventory, then implementing the most mutually beneficial path for their business and the planet. Our tech-enabled sortation process and comprehensive network of solution partners in re-commerce, repair, recycling, and responsible disposal work together to create scalable solutions of sustainability that prevent waste problems before they happen.
Since 2008, Debrand has been dedicated to keeping apparel and footwear out of international landfills and into domestic recovery systems. We turn supply chain challenges into clear-cut, brand-aligned solutions that are better for businesses and the planet’s health. Our goal is to propel the apparel industry’s sustainable future by implementing a circular system to help textiles live on and on (and on).

Job Summary
Debrand is seeking a full-time Project Manager, Value-Added Services, to support the execution of our unique in-house value-added projects. While working on-site at our new Columbus, Ohio facility, they would oversee the execution of dynamic services for brands and retailers in the textile industry. The Project Manager will report to the Director of Value-Added Services.
We take an integrated approach to identifying the industry’s needs and supporting solutions across reuse and recycling channels. Our sortation capabilities enable us to leverage advanced recycling technologies to their fullest potential. Through partnerships, research, engineering, design, feedback, and a deep understanding of the apparel industry, we aim to do better for the people and the planet. The process itself is complex, but the goal is simple: we want to work with apparel brands to extend the life of their products by providing scalable sortation services along with viable solutions through our trusted partner network.

Core Responsibilities

  • Oversee the execution of our value-added services, aligning them with our business objectives and customer needs.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sustainability, solutions, marketing, sales, and customer support, to seamlessly integrate value-added services into our offerings.
  • Vendor Relationships: Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party partners or vendors when necessary to enhance our value-added services operations.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain a high standard of quality for our value-added services, actively seeking internal and external feedback and making continuous improvements.
  • Map and monitor KPIs to measure the impact of value-added service projects.

Your Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as textile value chain management, sustainability, or project management.
  • 1 –3 years of experience in project management or related roles.
  • Specific experience managing complex projects in the apparel and footwear industry, focused on maximizing the value of each item. Experience managing these projects in the sustainability space is a bonus.
  • Additional relevant experience may include warehouse, shipping and receiving experience or operating textile-related services.
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and create innovative solutions.
  • Comfortable with a fast paced, growth environment
  • Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to use data-driven insights.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A customer-centric mindset with a deep understanding of customer needs.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and project management skills.
  • Located in close proximity to Columbus, Ohio facility for on-site work full time.
