Position Overview:
This role involves coordinating with program area staff, IT project management, and vendors to capture application changes, manage the business partner backlog, and ensure the successful development of the CWDS application while maintaining strong organizational and communication skills.

Duties:
  • Conduct Business Process Re-engineering, including, Gap Analysis, and facilitate design sessions.
  • Document and update business process requirements and diagrams, review policies and procedures, and collaborate with business partners and IT administrators for final review.
  • Act as the liaison between business partners, IT staff, project managers, and vendors, engaging effectively with all staff levels, including senior executives.
  • Collect, analyze, and document business requirements, business rules, processes, and legislation and generate functional and system requirements documentation required for system development.
  • Participate in planning and coordinating testing efforts, including developing test plans, creating test scenarios, and executing system integration testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Coordinate and execute the Training Plan, including the development of training materials, quick reference guides, and standard operating procedure manuals.
  • Use specialized software for creation and management of system application documentation, tracking system changes, tracking reported bugs, creation of Test Plans, Test Suites, Test Cases
  • Analyze business documentation to determine any necessary IT system or business process changes that are required.
  • Ensure timely escalation of issues and project risks, including compliance and IT service limitations, to the appropriate management to address impacts on development and schedules.
  • Evaluate and analyze complex business processes and determine how the information can be relayed in individual parts.
  • Analyze business process requirements and process diagram flows, review business policy and procedure documentation, create/update documentation as needed.
Required Skills:
  • 10 years of experience using formal requirements gathering methodologies
  • 10 years of experience developing business, functional, and non-functional requirements
  • 7 years of experience developing Requirements Traceability Matrix
  • 7 years of experience developing Training and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) materials
  • 7 years of experience working to facilitate collaboration across the full range of executive, business, and technical resources
  • 7 years of experience with assisting testing efforts to include reviewing test scenarios for UAT and organizing users to facilitate effective tests
  • 7 years of experience with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint Visio and Project)
  • 5 years of experience with Agile methodology
Preferred Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of experience with PM methodologies and/or managing & tracking a project against a project plan
  • Experience working on state government projects/assignments
  • Business Analyst Certification (certification from an accredited organization like IIBA)
